Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR)
AMR is emerging as a greater public health threat in Africa than HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria, posing the highest risk to children and other vulnerable populations. (Africa CDC)
Youth-led biosecurity campaign
We empower young champions to strengthen farm biosecurity, promote responsible animal health practices, and help communities prevent antimicrobial resistance across Africa.

What We Do
We provide youth-tailored capacity building, mentorship, and resources to equip young champions with skills to educate communities, influence behavior change, and implement practical interventions.
01
We train and mentor young leaders on biosecurity, AMR prevention, vaccination practices, and sustainable livestock management.
02
Our champions lead grassroots campaigns to raise awareness and promote behavior change in local farming communities.
03
We amplify youth voices to influence national and regional policies on AMR, sustainable agriculture, animal health, and biosecurity.
04
We connect youth across Africa through a continental platform to share knowledge, coordinate action, and drive regional impact.
Strategic Areas
Five focus areas guide the Level Up Biosecurity, Lock Out AMR campaign, helping young champions build healthier communities, safer livestock systems, and lasting youth-led action.
Raising awareness about AMR and promoting responsible antimicrobial use in farms and communities to protect human and animal health.
Equipping youths to help farmers adopt practical biosecurity measures, prevent disease outbreaks, and reduce dependence on antibiotics.
Promoting farming practices that protect the environment, improve animal health, and strengthen long-term food security.
Encouraging timely vaccination to prevent disease, reduce antibiotic use, lower mortality, and strengthen herd health.
Giving young people the knowledge, leadership skills, and platforms to lead AMR, advocacy, and biosecurity action locally.
